| OverSite.US is devoted to presenting
quality web sites that adhere to all of the major search engines terms of
service . We are not interested in becoming the largest web directory
nor ranked the highest, we simply aim to provide visitors a reliable resource
for quality references. Directory submissions can be a time consuming process
and we encourage you to skip ours if your web site is not of high quality
that provides unique information or services. |
| Oversite is not a reciprocal link directory nor do we accept sponsored listings. Oversite
accepts only paid reviews or sites that are established authorities
in their fields. |
| A non-refundable $30 review fee is required for consideration. Acceptance of your review fee in no way guarantees your approval and no refunds will be issued if your site is not approved. |
| All approved sites must be reviewed annually. It is the site owners responsibility to ensure that the annual review fee is received before the anniversary of their listing date. |
| Sites flagged by visitors whose concerns are validated will have five business days to correct the issue or be permanently removed from our listings. No refund will be issued for any site that is removed from our listings. |
| Our site submission guidelines will be updated periodically. New versions of our guidelines supercede, replace older versions and will be applied to all listings retroactively. |
OverSite.US Submission Guidelines |
- Web sites must contain unique, relevant content and be free from misleading or deceptive advertising.
- Only family friendly sites will be considered, no sites who reference adult content, gambling, pharmaceuticals, etc. will be considered.
- Only top level domains will be considered - (No sub-domains, folders
or supporting pages)
- Site design should be of reasonable quality - (Consistent design elements)
- No cookie cutter or MFA (made for third party advertising) web sites will be considered
- All submitted resources should abide by the major search engines quality
guidelines - Google,
Yahoo,
MSN
- You must submit your site from/to the most relevant category
- Editors will make the final determination on the most appropriate category for your site. (editors decisions are final)
- The anchor text and description must accurately reflect the sites content. Editors will edit as necessary and editors decisions are final.
- Site content, references and any advertising should be in keeping with the theme of the site.
- No link farms, link sales, or sites that engage in excessive and/or unrelated linking in any fashion will be considered.
